Alright...It's official
The 2nd Brigade Combat Team is headed to Afghanistan in early 2007.
That includes the 407th BSB and Aaryk.
They will be gone for 12 months.
This is, of course, unless something ELSE happens in the meantime that they get sent to handle...
Just wanted to keep you all informed. As we get closer to time and I know more, I'll make sure everyone is kept in the loop.

I pray especially that Aaryk will be safe in Afghanistan--and that this will be one of the experiences that he'll remember, not only a job or a civic duty, but something that means something. I'll pray for you too as you're apart ('course, I hope that means WE get you...being selfish here, I know, but I can't help how happy I feel about that).
