On the road...again!

Sorry for the lack of updates. Once again my life seems to have gotten away from me!

I'm currently in Phoenix with Mom. We brought down a load of stuff in the Suburban so I'll have less to deal with when I make th move back to Fort Bragg. I'm also house hunting and found an adorable place that I've made an offer on. Here's some pics- NEW HOUSE! It's an old house, built in 1935, and so the wiring is an issue, but everything else seems to be good with it. It even has a basement (a real rarity in Phoenix)! We're hoping to have everything wrapped up by Wednesday and head home on Thursday. That should put us back home sometime Saturday evening. Prayers for safety on the road and good weather would be much appreciated!

Brian is back at Ft. Hood, his deployment looks to be sometime late spring/early summer, but that's still kind of up in the air at the moment. He seems to be settling in to military life.

Aaryk is in the home stretch (less than a month!!!!), they are getting things packed to ship back home, and he is VERY ready to be home. He has no internet access at this point, and won't for the remainder of the time. Well, they DO have access to the USO computers, but the lines are always long and they only get 15 minutes at a time. So, he onlly goes when he absolutely needs to check something (like pictures of the house!).

I'm really hoping things work out with this house, so prayers that things come together quickly (or not at all) would also be appreciated.

I'll have another update when I get home!

Nice looking place! Whereabouts is it? It looks well-kept - I'd never have guessed it was built in 1935! Nice yard too.

The best part about an old house is that many of the Major Renovations may have already been done at some point.

Of course, you have my prayers for The Best Outcome for You. Plus, this means you will be HERE. ;-)

Love,
Dee

Well, the house still needs quite a bit of work, mostly electrical. Most of the wiring is original!

But we're budgeting for that, so hopefully it will all work out according to plan.

Looking forward to being back home (where it's WARM!) soon too!
