Playing catch-up again

Wow, what a month it's been!

Two birthdays, two hospitalizations (everyone is fine) and lots of traveling.

So, I think the best way to get everyone up to date is a picture show-
Barrington Support the Troops Rally

This is the Barrington IL Support the Troops rally on September 8. It was a wonderful, fun afternoon complete with my giving blood for the first time and a (very short) Freedom Walk. More pics here

Next up were the two hospital visits. My father in TX was in for a mild stroke. He's home again now and doing better, I know though, that they'd appreciate your prayers for his recovery and strength during this time. I also ended up in the hospital over night for possible heart problems. My heart is fine, and they are treating me for acid reflux and it seems to be doing the trick.

I came home from the hospital in time for Percy's first birthday!

Percy turns one!

Percy turned one on September 14th. He got a hamburger cake with a french fry candle. He was so polite though, he wouldn't eat the cake off the little table, he waited for me to give it to him. What a good dog! More pics here.

Then it was off to Springfield and Decatur for a few days.

At the Springfield war memorials

A few more pics here.

Getting to see the Lincoln Museum at the Presidential Library was very cool too.

Then finally, the big news...

BRIAN TURNED 21 ON SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 22!!!

But I think that deserves a post all of it's own, so look above for it! ;)

Ah! You did the overnight hospital scare very recently! Yeah, I mentioned it to Bill & he'll ask his doctor to check when he sees her this week. Thanks for mentioning it.

Percy is SOOOOOO cute!

Best wishes for your dad's recovery.

Love,
Dee
